At ordinary networking events the most people you can realistically hope to meet in an evening is between 6 and 8. We can guarantee you will meet and talk to at least 30 new contacts, all of whom will be decision makers. It’s fast, it’s free, it’s energetic and amazingly effective!
The idea is that within a few minutes of talking to someone you will be able to work out whether it is possible to do business with them. This makes it a very efficient form of business networking.

Since each speed networking session lasts a short time, you will not get stuck in an unwanted long conversation trying to figure out how to end it and move on.

For starters you will want to bring plenty of business cards. You should also come prepared and follow these simple tips.
•Know your business, and know it well
•Be able to describe what you do in a few clear sentences
•Know what you want and need from networking and what you have to offer.
